Rome in times of Caesars


This private 3-hour tour is dedicated to those visiting Rome who are interested in discovering the wonders of life in ancient times. The archaeological zone holds various, temples, arches, and other monuments that will transport you to the Ancient Roman Era.

We will start meeting you at your hotel/apartment, after that we will head to Rome’s Gay Street, and after stopping to see the exterior of what was once the most important gladiator school in Rome, we will visit the inside of the Flavian Amphitheatre, better-known as the Coliseum, which is without a doubt one of the best exponents of Roman engineering.

We will also see the temple of Venus and Roma, built by the famous emperor Hadrian, of Hispanic origin, whose “favorite,” a young boy named Antinous, became a model of classical beauty for his contemporaries and for many generations to come.

The Arch of Constantine and the Arch of Titus will offer us an stunning image of the triumph of the Roman Era, and after entering the Palatine, where the emperors had their palaces, we will finish our route with a visit to the Roman Forum with its most important monuments and legends.

During the tour we will talk about the city’s gay history, lifestyle, nightlife… We will make sure you have all the information to fully enjoy this wonderful city!
